Alright i really dont care what sound my BOV makes so long as its not robbing power.So how much boost is a 1G bov good for? I would like to hear from people who have been robbed of power due to the BoV not holding boost

1G bov is good up to 23 psi.

Stock without crushing my 1g is holding 17 psi.

Yeah ive only had my car for three weeks and im just trying to plan my mod order out.Thats definatly cool that i wont have to worry about that for a while.

The 1G BOV generally holds 18-20psi without leaking. Crushing it, using the Doge Garage Mod or the Dejon Stop Leak kit will get you to 26+. If you decide to run high boost and crush it, use a MityVac and crush it so that it holds 19-20 in/hg before opening. This will seal up well under heavy boost while avoiding compressor surge issues from over-crushing.
