I bought a STM intake kit to run SD without a MAF, and was wondering what people do about the line for PCV on the valve cover? I still have the PCV valve going to the intake manifold. Do most just run a catch can for that line or should I get a nipple welded on the intake pipe to still run it like stock? Any suggestions on what would be best would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would recommend running crankcase venting in the original stock form necessitating you to weld a nipple to your new intake pipe. I may also recommend adding dual sealed catch cans. These can be two separate ones mounted in different locations, or one unit with two separate chambers. To further improve your setup, you may want to plumb a kynar check-valve between the catch can and intake manifold. The diagram below is what I run myself:

Ok thanks for the reply. Looks like I'll have one welded on, does location matter for the vacuum nipple like on the side like stock or can it be on bottom side? I've emailed Calan to see if he still makes his catch cans, which he does.
