Hey guys, since i got my car it has felt a little different than my old DSM. They are both 97 eclipse GST's except my old one was 5-speed and my new one is auto. When im driving, the steering wheel feels ridiculously loose and the car moves all over with the simplest touch of the wheel. In the rain, FORGET IT!! When it rains its a challenge just to keep the car from wiggling all over. The front and rears tires are both in good shape, in fact i just had the fronts replaced about 3000 miles ago so i know its not the tires. Anyone know what could be causing my car to hop all over the road and why my steering wheel feels so loose?? Thanks for all the advice and help guys, i really appreciate it from everyone!

You might want to check your tie rods (both inner and outer) and ball joints. If the boots are torn on either the outer tie rods or ball joints replace them. They don't cost much and they aren't to difficult to install yourself, and then take your ride up to a shop and get an alignment. If it turns out then it's the inner tie rods have them replace them because they're a PITA. You might also want to check your steering rack bushings.

well i just recently had the tie rods replaced....i didnt even know that there were inner and outer tie rods...i just know that i had the front tie rods replaced so i'm gonna have to check that out but thanks
