Stage 1 vs. Stage 2

im like 800 dollars away from buying a stage 1 kit for my 2gnt. i was wondering if it would be more COST effective to buy a stage 1 kit and buy the accessories to upgrade to stage 2 seperate rather than buying a stage 2 kit. i want to do this because i want a different front mount instead of the one that hahn offers. i also want to buy stage 1 first so i can get a turbo kit sooner and not spend so much money at once.

yes, buy a stage 1 and get a different front mount, cuz the hahn comes with a side mount, so you would just be buying 2 intercoolers.

I bought the Stage 1 and I am happy now but I had the same intentions as you. I wanted to do a new front mount and everything. The thing that got me was my drag racing ticket(PS DONT STREET RACE). If you order the Stage 2 you get gauges and everything but if you dont like the intercooler then just sell it to me . If you decide to order the stage 2 order it from Howell Automotive because they give you the gauges with the kit but the bad thing is is that you wont get the kit until 4 to 8 weeks.

im not sure on that one. i think hahn offers the stage 2 kit with or without the front mount. i think im gonna save up and just buy the stage 2, ill be running 13's and be smokin' 75% of the gst's around here.

yes you have a choice, but its $700 or so more for the front mount. and, as for 13's, i wouldnt count on it, thats what they claim and i rarely hear stories of it being achieved.

My punishment for the street racing was a $325.00 ticket and 6 months suspension of my license. (WEST VIRGINIA) I didnt want to lose my license so I went to my lawyer and he got it nocked down to speeding. The thing behind that is I have to attend a driving class for one hour and the ticket will be dismissed. It still costed me more then the ticket but I still have my license. $250.00 for Lawyer, $175.00 for court cost and driving school.

a 1 hour class??? WTF when i got in my accident i had to attend a 4 hour class to get it off my record, and if i got another ticket in a year, it was an 8 hour class. damn

Thats probably why the class was so long for you but I dont know? I have just kinda learned my lesson on street racing but it is just so hard not to race people on the street. PS DONT STREET RACE

it is hard... when you get some riced out civic with a big wing, altezzas and a loud muffler next to you revving... its like a hot girl with an STD... do it at your own risk :laugh:

good point. I just like driving buy those types of cars and just let them hear the blow off valve then they tend not to mess with you.

day missed from work $60+ , $250 for lawyer, 175 for court and driving school. having someone in the lane next to you watch your hazard lights flash after trying so hard to beat you in a race= priceless
