I installed a UDP about 1-2 weeks ago, everything went good...but now the belts seem to be squeaking a bit. It only does it when the car is first started and I give it some gas (not at idle). It does go away after the car has warmed up though (4-5minutes). Anyone know what the deal is? Are the belts too tight? Too loose? Or is just because the belts are new or something? Thanks for the help.:thumb:

Wait...you said they're "not too loose"...but then you say they need to be tightened a bit? I'm confused.

well, too loose = very loose I think right? If the car runs fine and everiting is ok wich means that the belt is almoust perfectly tightened.
It needs a to be tightened a bit more to be perfect.I had that same thing month ago and after I got it done I never heard this ####in sound again.:thumb: .

Someone told me it might be a bad tensioner? Anyone know about this? I really can't see them being too loose...i mean, I feel it by hand and it feels nice and tight....which is why I was thinking if anything it was too tight.

well try to tight them a bit more and see if it make noise. If still does than it is tensioner if it doesnt then u good.It take 5 min to do so.
If they were too tight they wouldsn screem. If they are too tight u might ####ed up ur power stearing and all other bearings.:thumb:
