Spring Pressure?

What is the Spring Pressure on wastegates for? like looking at the tial wastegates at stuff you can pick the spring pressure from like 3 psi to 23 psi. What are the numbers for?

pick the spring that corresponds to the minimum amount of boost you want to run.

The spring pressure is the least amount of boost you will be able to run. For example, If you buy a 10psi spring, you will not be able to run lower boost than 10psi, but you can run higher than 10psi with a mbc. Buy whatever spring suits you best, I wouldn't go too high though.

Oldman is old.

Usually you pick a spring that is half of your desired peak boost pressure. But like stated above, you can alter this with a boost controller.
