Ok I changed my valve cover gasket and spark plug gaskets. Iknow its on properly. I just dont understand whats going on. If I drive normal its fine but once I boost and I pull over and check my wires #1 spark plug wires keeps popping out. I made sure it was down tight. I also noticed that it had a slight cut close the the beginging of the wire at the boot. Would that cause it to pop out? What do I need to check for? I just fixed a stalling out issue and now this is happening....

I hope not. I didnt have a spark plug socket but I'm going to get one tomorrow and check that. I hope thats the problem....

I have the very same problem, for some reason my #1 wire pops up no matter how hard I try to push it inside. I can't use the wire cover because my wires are too big and the cover just wont fit in. Are there any other ways to fix it ?

i had a new set of wires that i bought and it kept blowing off the coil. same deal sort of. i returned them and got a new set. no problem since then. perhaps its worth a shot

Bosch and ngk wires dont "grip" the top of the plug like accel wires do. I have tried all kinds of wires and found accel thundersports to work the best although the color is quite disturbing under my hood. One small thing you can try is buy a tube of antisieze, coat your plug threads with it and torque them to spec. Other than that I would invest in a new set of plug wires.

thanks.... swapped the plugs and another set of wires same company but different style (BORG/WARNER cuz they dont sell NGK wires around here. I checked 4 stores already.)and now the car doesnt pop out the spark plug wires but I havent driven it enough to see if I still have the stalling situation. Also I think the fuel injectors have a slight leak in them cuz when I pulled the old plugs out they smell like gas. maybe thats why it takes so long for me to start up the car? How can I fix that or do I need to replace the whole set of injectors?
