yup bought a pair of milano sparco seats with brackets for 2g's and after i installed the driver side seat i noticed that the top left corner of the seat hit the door. anyone else ever have this problem and if so have any suggestions on how to fix it? still waiting on the universal sliders from sparco so those might help some

I have the same problem with my Corbeaus...easy fix...just round out the mounting points on the bracket and shift the seat over a quarter of an inch, then bolt them back on the bracket:thumb:

mine also does this... i just left it and now 3 months later theres a small "dent" in my door panel. but i dont care i can now rest my left arm on the "ledge"where all the window controls are...............
im so lazy.......

You could put a shim under the bracket that is on the door side, that would shift the angle of the seat a little to the center of the car (to small to notice) but also get you out of the problem of the seat hitting the door. That or like what is stated above, just round out the holes and slide it over some, either would work.

the real question is...how comfortable are racing seats?

ps - not trying to hijack, i'm just curious

my non reclinable lowest end model (sparco Sprint or Speed, or something like that) are fairly comfy... For comfort like in a relaxed position i'd take my OEM seat any day. But it is the PERFECT driving position and comfy when moving (like dont go to a drive in expecting to be fine)
But mine is like a tube frame shella round me because it doesnt recline, maybe the other seats that do are better comfort wise?

actually, i have no complaints over the function and/ or comfort of my corbeaus. they keep you planted, yet they provide enough room to be comfy. OEM from what i remember is a little more comfy, but I can deal with a little less comfort for a nice look, and a functional racing seat.

My seats are comfy. I would not want a non reclinable seat for daily driving though. I drive through LA alot and I am always readjusting during traffic. I am actually trying to sell my seats. Not that I dont like racing seats but I dont need them. I dont take my car to the track often and the cops around here think they make you drive faster.
