So I bought a greddy full recirc bov. On top there is a 11mm nut with an adjustment. Left being soft and right being hard. What exactly is there for and what are the differences?

just like it says. It adjusts how soft or hard it is for the valve to open. When running higher boost you'd want it adjusted towards the hard side so the valve stays closed, but it also can cause turbo flutter if you have it adjusted hard with low boost.

So I'm running low boost right now so I'm better off doing soft?

How exactly can I do a blt? Only way I've looked for blots leaking is by smoking the system.

Turn your motor 20* BTDC, disable your MBC, make an adapter with a valve stem to fit over the compressor inlet. Pump it with air, spray soapy water around the intake areas that can leak, anywhere with flanges, gaskets and seals. Most obvious are the compressor housing where it mates to the CHRA, all couplers that connect from the compressor outlet to the TB elbow, the flange where the BOV sits, TB shaft seals, TB flanges, and intake manifold flange. A less obvious one would be the intercooler. A small pinhole from a rock or something could form.

Ohh ok cool thanks so basically the more the boost psi the harder the valve will need to be turned.?

So this flutter your talking about . Is this not good? Or is it just a sound?
