Wanna race up a closed paved mountain road and compare times w/ friends and everyone else competing? Now you can.
Rally West Virginia has opened the smooth hillclimb stage for non-rally cars that conform to SCCA Time Trial rules (don't need rollcages).
Both days you'll race at ~ minute intervals up the ~2 mile road that begins w/ a could fast linked corners and ends in a series of switchback hairpins in front of spectators. EMS and vehicle recovery onsite. Its all wooded so no big exposure cliffs like Pikes Peak.
The paddock/pits is on the summit at the resort w/ lots of ammieties and activities for the entire family. At 4000ft, its nice and cool break from the city at end of July.
