Simple question about doing a GM MAS and mastranslator..

sup, im thinking of doing a gm mass and maft setup on my 91 tsi, anyone have any suggestions or comments about this?, also i was pricing some gm mass's new, there like 400$ i was wondering i just went to a junkyard and pulled one out of a specific car?, i was wondering what cars these mas's actually came in?, ls1? etc., uhm also if anyone knows where i can get the maft fairly cheap?, that would be great, anyways thanx

There are a couple of guys selling them on ebay all the time. They usually go for around $35-50.
