Alright, found a good deal i think. Going from bowling green, kentucky to toledo, ohio, in about 8 hours after i sleep.

Swapping my stock 91 tsi trans for a shephards transmission stage 4 and paying 1500 for it.. it has about 5000 miles on it and been to the track twice... the guy is upgrading to a dog box...

what you all think ?

Sounds good if you ask me, doesn't the stage 4 setup run about 2k? What was the guys time on the track?

around christmas time i to will be buying a shepard transmission. what type of fluid would recomend as "good fluid" for this type of tranny?

There are a lot of threads on what gear oil to use so have fun looking at the different types. If using a shep tranny call them up an ask what to use.

TRE tansmissions recommend redline, and jacks trannys recommend Mitsubishi MR 6-speed oil or Redline Heavyweight Shockproof 50/50 mixed with Valvoline 80W-90.

I wouldnt recommend running just MT90 in a transmission as its too thin. Use the factory fliud or try pennzoil and redline shockproof mix.
