The SFMU I bought didn't come with the input/output 4 an fittings, I bought it used so I can't complain for the price I paid. Anyways what is the part number or specs of the two fittings that go on the SFMU.

Thanks

vortech -4an adapter for sfmu

p/n 6x100-002

edit: I'd also recommend using just the one fitting you get from them to go from the rail to the sfmu, and then using a -6an return line if you have 450's

I found the best prices to be from Summit Racing, but these fittings still cost an arm and a leg.

2x -6 male to 3/8" barb = $15.29 (for both)
1x Nitrile -6 O-rings = $9.95

If you want to T off a fuel pressure gauge sender at your sfmu:
1x -6 male to 1/8" NPT to -6 female = $14.69
(You will have to carefully cut off the flared male section off this and put a o-ring on it)

a slightly cheaper, less professional route would be just get a -6 female to -6 female adapater and put it on the pressure gauge T that comes stock on your sfmu.

from Lowes or Home Depot

2x 3/8" female NPT to 3/8" barb
2x 3/8" male to 1/4" barb

edit: ouch you beat me to it and your link is actually more helpful than my post so just look at the above link

So there is no way I can get these fittings at home depot or a fittings specialty store?

you probably could, i just felt it wasn't worth my time to be bothered. Drive around to a couple hardware stores looking for what you need and before you know it you've wasted 2 hours and used three gallons of gas trying to save a few bucks. I'd rather just wait for someone to bring me the right thing and not have to worry about it, but that's just me.

I appreciate the suggestion; however money/gas are not a problem for me. Its the time my car has been sitting which is the inconvenience. So I would drive anywhere local and spend top dollar to get these fittings. It has been exactly a year since I drove my car with two fried piston rings and I need to drive it again its a pathetic excuse I know:sosad:

understandable, my car was down for three months and I was going nuts. I am also less apt to do that because with all the different types of fittings sizes etc. I would get confused, that's why I love that diagram I posted above so much.

i gave you the parts you could use from home depot in my last post. otherwise you can always get what parts you need overnight shipped but thats 22 bucks.

edit: ohh then again you said you sfmu has no fittings at all with it not even the Tee

I feel you, the cost of the fittings and ss lines is up there, my fuel setup costed me about 650 and that was with getting the sfmu for 225 or 250, then there's the pump and injectors for another $250 and the rest was fuel lines and fittings. If you have larger than stock injectors, definetly get the 6an line to go from the sfmu back to the tank. Did your sfmu come with the blue 6an fittings that it comes with new, or did it not come with any fittings?

Nah I didn't get any fittings with it. I got the springs and discs though; I was lucky to get it for a good price so I'm not complaining. I have 450cc's so I might buy a 6an line

I would if I was you it's only a few bucks more. Plus you aren't going to be able to get your idle low enough with a 4an line. Myself and others included have run into not being able to get below ~28psi. With 450's you're going to want your idle somewhere around 15-18 if my memory is correct. I know with 330's it's about 20-22

If you do that, I'm 99% certain this is the fitting you're going to need for the bottom port of the sfmu
-6an to -6an w/o-ring

Updates.

I got my intake manifold back on and the SFMU hooked up.
I also replaced the PS belt that broke on me as well:notgood:

I need to wire up my FCD and plug an Intake sensor in and I should be running on my new set up this week.
