I have had my saturn alternator wired up with only one wire connected from the 4 pin harness from the alternator. Although my battery has been charging, it is low voltage and i think it is part of my idle issues. I read to hook up s to a switched source such as the fpr solenoid power wire, but i removed the wires so i dont know what else to hook up s to. If anyone has any pointers it is appreciated.

I saw that thread but didnt find any info on wjere to put that wire other than at the distribution block but thats a constant power source to the battery. That thread is ridiculously crowded with a bunch of different info such as mounting brackets and bolts and pulleys etc.

I did read all of them regarding wiring. They are saying to go to the distribution block if you relocated the battery. I will do this but i see that a as a constant draw when the key is off because it goes right to the battery. Instead of treating me like a noob why cant you either be nice enough to point me in the right direction (instead of just linking a thread full of various topics) or just not post on here if your going to be an ass. Its a simple question i dont know why you have to try and belittle me when im clearly not a noob at pretty much 80% of stuff regarding 2gs. I literally tore my car apart and rebuilt it within 10 months all by myself, with no prior mechanical skills. So try beating on someone who actually is a noob.

I didn't treat you like a noob, At least were not my intentions.:nono:
If you were treated as a noob, I wouldn't Link you that Info.
I have read this thread several times and I have seen all the info That I need to do the swap.

Check post #126 posted by (talondsp1).
There are some other posts where some other once put the Information, But, (talondsp1) This post had it more clear, Or you can PM him if you have any doubt about it.:thumb:

Sorry if i came off rude. I just hate seeing millions of threads on this with no answers. Every google link i clicked was unreplied threads or threads with misinformation. I wired it to the distribution block an i now have 14 volts, the car is in my shop on the lift and i am constantly checking to see if the batery is drawing power with the key off. Ill look at that post and see what they did. Thank you and sorry if i was rude
