safc at -31 on 550cc 190lph HELP

ive got 550cc injectors and a 190lph fuel pump and a evo16g and am tuning with a palm logger and safc. to get my car to not puff out black smoke i have to tune my safc to between -30 and -34 throughout my rpm range. my o2 is around .95 with these settings and my timing increases steady up to 20 at 7000 rpm. i dont have any boost leak but i dont think something is right because ive never read of anyone having to lean out this much with 550cc injectors. i recently went to the track and on 15psi i ran a 9.2 1/8 mile with a 2.0 60ft. i think i should be faster and tuning might help me out. any suggestions or does this seem right to anyone?

every car is different

just watch the knock or in your case timing, i usually steadily lean it out until i start to see signs of knock. hope this helps

Are you absolutly positive you have no leaks?

Looks exactly like a boost leak to me...

ill double check for boost leaks but i leak tested after i installed the fmic and it held 20 psi so im pretty sure i dont have any leaks. anything else you guys can think of. also if i did have a boost leak, how big of a leak would i need to effect me this much?

You sure you have 550s? I've seen many instances where used (and new) injectors were actually much larger than what was though bought.

Have you access tyo a dataloger? If so what are your low/mid trims like?

i was thinking i might have bigger injectors than i thought too. my long trim is at 12 and my short trim is at around 8. i bought the injectors off ebay and they are FIC i believe. they were supposed to be 550cc. also is it possible to have a 190lph fuel pump overrun to stock fpr?

I know some Injector shops etch the model or a serial # on the injector itself. If you do find one and is not obvious, may want to call FIC tomorrow to see if they can x-ref it.

Possible at idle or lowspeed, but under higher demands, not likely (mine didn't), and definitely not as much as you are subtracting from fuel on the S-AFC

i did a boost leak test and man was it leaking. i replaced several of the cheap clamps that came with the front mount with some new ones. and i had to zip tie all the vaccum lines for my profec b because they were leaking. i guess those clamp had loosened since i put them on. ill tune it tomarrow and see what my settings end up at.

Make sure you drop your high settings to around -15 to be safe before you do any WOT pulls.

Also if your STFT is around 8 spend a couple mins getting it closer to 0.

i worked a little with it last night and got the stft down to zero. im gonna tune wot tonight.

i tuned my car at 15 psi and im still at around -30 to -32 on my high safc settings. i fixed all my boost leaks and this still seems pretty high. the car feels faster than it did before the boost leak fix but my settings still dont seem right. what else could i check? also should i have the extra hole in my profec b spec 2 solenoid open. as i read in the instructions i had left it open and put fittings in the other two. i noticed that when i had the key on while i was doing my boost leak test i could hear it releasing air. i cut the key off and it stopped.
