I was on rre.com and I found out that they can resurface and lighten the stock flywheel from 19lbs to 14lbs which is cheaper then buying a fidanza 9 lb flywheel and I won't have to worry about stalling at idle. Has anybody done this?? does it rev better?? I know it's no fidanza wheel LOL but, I think it should respond better than the heavy stock wheel I think :talon:

I have absolutely no problems stalling at idle with the fidanza flywheel. Your option sounds like it would work though.

Oh yeah, and I saw no performance gains with the flywheel. Little difference while free reving.

I'm happy with the ACT light weight flywheel 12lbs Vs. the 8-9 lbs. isn't harder to dive with that light of a flywheel. as a daily driver ??

I notice no diffrence either. In fact she revs faster, and rocks the doors of anything around hear. My launches are beture, My wheels spin faster. And there friction surfaces last longer too. You really need to do some reserch. if your car is stalling out at idle. Something isn't tuned right

I dont really know who your directing that to, but I can tell you theres not much of a diff from stock beside free reving faster.

I have already did a search before posting this and that's what a few people have said about them so, I just wanted to know if it was true are not.

cool! guess i just learn something new :)

I have the rre flywheel and I love it for the price as long as your core is good. I just took it out during my new motor install and after lots of hard launching its got small cracks but nothing to worry about. I've put about 20k miles on it no problems yet.
