I have a RNR 3" O2 eliminator downpipe. I am installing a evo III 16G with the evo III turbine to O2 housing gasket. I'm trying to figure out if the turbine exducer hole is the same size as the hole on my downpipe flange before I take it apart. Does anyone know the size of this hole on the RNR downpipe flange? I emailed RNR, and he told me HE THOUGHT it was 2.5", but I'd like to get confirmation.

Thanks.

isn't the part that mates to the Turbo 2.5" and down at the end where it mates to the Cat (or in Test Pipe)... it't 3"... right?

I'm buying a downpipe from RNR... my question is if I have a 14B (bone stock) now and plan on going with a B16G down the line.... would I want the option of the Wastegate flange welded on? Forgive the newbie question but I really cant picture how the wastgate ties into the O2 hosing?

If you get a internal gate on the 16G than you dont need the wastegate flange added. Its an option only if you are running it with a external wastegate setup. When i got my 02 eliminator dp from RNR i measured it and it was 2.5".

The stock setup has an external wastegate right??? I am sticking with the 14B for at least a year. Is the flange something that my local muffler shop can do? Or is it worth the $40 that RNR charges?

The outlet on an evo III is 2.5".

I measured it. It's closer to 2 3/8" unported. The evo III gasket is about 2.5".

When i got my 02 eliminator dp from RNR i measured it and it was 2.5".

Thank you.

No, the stock setup is an internal gate. Sure, your local muffler shop can do it. The flange costs around $10-$15. The muffler shop will need to put a hole in your downpipe (or your exhaust manifold if you go that route) and weld the flange on. It's unlikely that your local shop will use a tig welder like RNR, or that it will come out as pretty. Probably best to just have RNR do it for $40.

If you have any issues with the size let me know through PM or give us a call at 619-579-2304.

We recently have done a lot of expansion an added a lot of employees an now stock these systems for faster service. I am also in the process of becoming a vendor on here again. I miss the good ole DSM days.

Maybe so, But don't kid yourself folks, it will still take at least 2 months+ to get you.

Not really. We just stocked up on a bunch of systems. So things are going out of here same day unless it is something custom.

I can vouch for RNR. I was hesitant at first, but ordered my from them anyway. It took about 3 weeks total to arrive (which is what their website states). I e-mailed them 2 weeks in and they said it was being shipped out, 4 days later, voila my exhaust appeared.

Now back to our regularly scheduled topic. ;)

Yes, we have added a bunch of employees to handle the demand we use to not be able to keep up with. We have changed a bunch of things and are keeping the popular items in stock at all times. If you are looking for a good deal just give us a call and I will offer you a DSMTuners discount which is pretty good.
