Stock rim pattern is 5x114.3

That's what I thought but when I was looking rims up on discount tire it was showing rims in 5x100. I guess it was just universal rims for 100 and 114.3. Heard they make adapters, thoughts on those?

Are you talking about factory srt4 rims? If so, they are 17x6s, 5x100 lug pattern, and most definitely will not fit:/

If they are aftermarket and dual drilled with a 5x114.3 pattern, yes they should fit at stock height with those specifications.

Said they were stock 18x8 he just corrected himself though and said they were 17x6. Wouldn't mind getting them and getting the adapters just wasn't sure if I could trust the adapters. Also don't mind walking because another guy has some 17x7.5 in 5x114.3 for the same price but the srt rims come with tires. So the cost of the adapters would save me from having to buy a new set of tires.

Stock SRT rims and tires and I'll have to buy 25mm 100 to 114.3 adapters.
Or
Konig rims and I'll have to buy tires.

SRT wheels (stop saying rims) look like shit, and a 25mm adapter/spacer ain't fixing ugly.
Buy proper wheels, once.

Already decided on the konig since the adapter would throw the offset way off. But the guy had the srt's painted black and they look better than the stock eclipse rims/wheels and they were going to be well worth it since they had new tires on them.

Wheel= Rim and tire together, no?
:toobad:

;)

A wheel is a wheel, a tire is a tire, or if you live near me, a "taaar". "RimZ" is just a misnomer for something that existed for many many years under it's proper name. I'm not the colloquial historian I'd like to be to reinforce my point, however.

I understand doing something on the cheap to change the look a bit, but some clever searching of Evo forums, here, and Craigslist could yield some proper fitting wheels, maybe even with mounted/usable tires. In the end, as long as you're happy, and not using some ridiculous 20+mm spacer/adapter; go for it.
