well i noticed that there was water and moisture in one of mine on my 94 talon ES and i went to unscrew the two screws on the sides but could loosen them. so i tried spraying wd40 on them and well they are still stuck. is there anything else that i can use, i would have thought wd40 would have done the trick but i guess not. :talon:

oh and now the blub is out so i definatley have to get it off

well i tryed the pb blaster and well they still will not budge

So did you get the bolt off eventually? Just asking b/c I'm having the same problem and I want to know what got the bolt off.

Good luck getting them off, most likely you won't. I've owned 7 1G's and I've never been able to get the screw out on any of them. I ended up pulling them and buying aftermarket lights.

Trying to do a 50W upgrade (to 885 bulb) and projector plus running-lamp mod to mine (sorry, I'm a flashlight-collector geek, so I have a thing for lights...aside from decals, that's the other rice thing about my ride), and I think I'm down to Dremel-cutting the head. The POS OEM screw heads strip so easily......

Will report back on whether or not I've gotten them off after this weekend. I'd hate to have to drill out the head totally, but if the Dremel doesn't get it done, I'm definitely willing to go to the extreme!

I've also heard of torching the screw to harden it, but I don want to chance meling the surronding plastic of the front bumper and I don't want to take it off. So I guess the screw extractor will be my next step. :|
