i had someone tell to me to this on my 95 gsx to increase my boost by bout 2-3 but im lost. Anyone got any decent description of how to do this and perhaps a pic maybe?

Sometimes this mod works, and sometimes it doesn't. On my car I held a rock solid 10psi to redline with my big28/fmic/exhaust/etc.

The easiest way to remove the restrictor is to take out your whole intake tube/MAS/Filter assembly. Now you have access to the solenoid. You will need to either remove the solenoid or get a good angle at it. One of the two nipples on the solenoid will have the restrictor in it. I don't remember whether it's the top one or the bottom one. The best way to get it out is get a drywall screw (or other screw with fine aggressive threads) and screw it in a little way into the restrictor and pull it out. Don't screw it in too far or you will ruin the solenoid. An increase in boost pressure is not definite, but boost response will deffinately be better.
