Random Misfire code help

Does anyone know the best way to get rid of the random misfire code when you swap a 6bolt into a 2g(besides dsm link.) I know RRE has a tutorial using a potentiometer, but the link on their website is broken, so if anyone can fill me in on what I need and how to do it or even if someone knows a better way it would be appreciated, thanks. And as far as the potentiometer mod i've heard mixed emotions on it, some ppl say its bad and unsafe some ppl swear by it and say theyve never had a problem with it. oh and i have a 90 cas and a 95 ecu

Getting a Black top CAS may help, have the re-wire done well with soldered connections
help also.
The pot-mod is dangerouse if you dont account for it with tunning.

alright thanks man its appreciated, why does shit have to be so difficult, you give a 2g a nice heart transplant then it treats you like shit.

send your ECU to DSM chips and they will reflash your ECU not to look for the Random misfire.

Also, you get injector timing remapped for larger injectors and launch control!
