radiator fan quick Q?

anyone have any idea why my radiator fan runs all the time? i mean, it never shuts off. i already replace my thermostat, temp sending unit, and waterpump. the water temp guage indicates normal operation. am i missing something else? thanks you...

Are you the origonal owner? If not maybe it was wired to run when key is on.

I wired my fans to be on all the time.

I had problem with the fans not coming on, I troubleshot it by doing this: in the engine bay fuse box, there is 3 relays labeled RAD LO, RAD HI and A/C FAN (on 2G cars), Carefully, with the engine cold and now running, If both fans are on, remove the relay that is the RAD lo, the fan will stop. Re-insert it while the engine still running, if the fan remains off, the relay is failing (sticking).

actually, it started the same time when my A/C ran out. before i install the thermostat, waterpump, and temp sending unit, my car tends to over heat during idle, then went away right after the installation. but i guess its kinda good to have the fan on all the time since it'll help to cool the motor down.

The ECU turns the fans on whenever the A/C is on. So either you have a stuck relay or the ECU still thinks the A/C is on.
