Battery Relocation kit was inspired by the cleanest battery relocation setup I've ever seen in a DSM, Eric Loose's DSM restoration project:

https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/my-fuse-box-relocation-project-log.298569/page-19

I have available many of the pieces needed for this install to mimic his install, with a few more goodies taking his idea another few steps even further by utilizing a remote cut off switch and quick disconnect charging leads.

The parts I have available:

Remote Solid State Cut Off Switch

KnuKonceptz KonFUSED 3 Way Distribution System - all three 150A fuses

KnuKonceptz In-Line Waterproof ANL Fuse Holder w/ Fuse - 200A fuse

(2) XScorpion Circuit breaker - 200A

2/0 Gauge Straight Clamp Compression Battery Terminal Negative

2/0 Gauge Straight Clamp Compression Battery Terminal Positive

Straight Battery Terminal Insulators - 2/0 Black

Straight Battery Terminal Insulators - 2/0 Red

4 JEGS 1/2" terminal guards

Battery Stud & Terminal Cover 3/8"

Terminal Solder Slugs

Heavy-Duty Copper Lugs - 1/2" Stud

Kolossus Fleks Kable 4 Gauge Black Power/Ground Wire

Battery Quick Disconnect (for charging)

Relocated Alternator Wire Lead complete

You will still need a battery box if you are not using a lithium/AMG battery, the 2/0 Gauge wiring, and maybe some small misc items. This is by far not the cheapest way to do a battery relocation, but this is one of the best and safest ways, required by all racing sanctioning bodies.

Eric's build blog is the best place for questions and guides and help on the install (along with the rest of the most beautifully restored DSM to date).

What I am offering is a huge step forward into this project's large order of supplies from various vendors and can get this paypaled and shipped to your door for $350 USD firm. All items new in box/bag/unused

*NOTE* The top 10 list has been great with reducing the silly questions so I will retain them at the top of the post here. I have sold TONS of parts on these groups. I am patient, I send lots of photos, communicate quickly, provide assistance and insight where I can, I package items well and have dozens of happy buyers. However, I continue to receive a ton of questions and interest on this transmission that ends up no where, so let me answer some of the most common to save us both time:

Top 10

1) No, you can not convert the box to AWD. No you can't drill a hole for the output shaft for a transfer case?? No, your skills in welding won't net you an AWD capable box. No, this isn't an HML. No. Just no. Stop it. If you want AWD, this isn't it.

2) If you want to reverse engineer the box and make it awd, go for it, I am not helping with that project. Because did I mention it isn't AWD? It isn't.

3) You will need a Strain Gauge shifter or Pneumatic paddle shifters. The Gear position sensor IS included and will need to be wired into your standalone ECU.

4) The box is meant for light weight mild power Road and/or Rally Racing vehicles, not your 1000 HP 3400 lb Drag Car. I've been asked will it work in a street car as a way to have 6 speeds. Uh... Sure?

5) Yes, it really is a 6 speed. In general, 6 speeds are weaker than 5 speeds. It's common for Evo MR guys to swap 6 speeds out for 5 speeds in their drag cars. Extra gear in the same transmission space = smaller gears to fit in that same space. You will accelerate faster with 6 speed, but it has lower torque rating. Doesn't make 6 speed bad, it means it isn't meant for drag racing. Special Note: There exists more than one type of motorsport with race cars. A hard concept to grasp for many DSMers PMing me.

6) No, I don't know the gear ratios. You'll be ordering a new gearset anyways, and you can pick any ratio you want per gear then.

7) Yes it mates to your 4g63

8) Gearbox is complete as far as I can tell, I am sending you everything I got in a box. Diff and final drive Included. Holinger disassembled it in house.

9) I never ran it, it was acquired out of a Proton Satria rally car that raced in the 90s parked in a shed for 20+ years.

9) Yes, Holinger has been contacted. They are willing to make you any parts you may need or want. They gave us a complete parts list; you can pick and choose what you want to replace based on your transmission builder's suggestions.

10) Research what a Holinger costs new before contacting me. Then realize I am getting you into one for about half price, and you'll still have all new parts. Know that half price is still more than 90% of DSMers spend on their entire vehicle mod list.

On to the original post:

I am selling a Holinger Sequential Gearbox. Not just a sequentially shifted (Ikeya) dog box, a genuine sequentially geared transmission. The absolute fastest and without a doubt best you can have.

Holinger stopped making sequentials for the Evo 1-3 platform in the 90s, and despite my best efforts to pay them the 20,000+ USD to manufacture one for me, they refused.

That all changed when I acquired a complete gearbox with the AMB Aero Eclipse. After weeks of emails back and forth to Holinger, they have sent me a parts list and agreed to manufacture replacement parts for the box I already had in my possession.

I am selling that complete Holinger gearbox for $2,800 USD.

My gearbox is not drop in ready, so you will need to purchase everything I have, and then order the rest of the parts needed from Holinger. This complete gearbox is the key to that process coming to fruition for you.

This box is 2WD fitting the FWD AMB Aero car it was destined for. It will fit any and all 4g63 type chassis as well, including Colts, Mirages, and the like. With a custom bell housing, this could work for ANY passenger mounted transmission FWD vehicle.

If you want more information on how to move forward, I can provide you with the next steps and arrange shipping the complete box to you.

The AMB racecar is changing classes and will not be able to utilize this box, otherwise I would be happily.
