quick 1g 7 bolt head stud question

Ok so I am going to replace the hg and put arps on my 1g 7 bolt but before I purchase the head studs I was wondering which ones should I purchase? The 6 bolt or 7 bolt headstuds? Because I heard that 1g 7 bolts are just 1g heads on 2g blocks? Is that correct or not?

Huh? Without answering that order them for the application your using. Tell them the year and let them do the thinking. If you get the 6bolt ones I dont think they will fit. I believe they are larger, if I made sense out of what you were trying to ask. And No the 1g 7 bolts and 2gs are different

I know the 1g 7 bolts and the 2g 7 bolts are different but I wasn't sure if it was a 6 bolt head on a 7 bolt block or vis versa. I am wondering cause my friend has a brand new set of arpies for a 6 bolt and I wanted to know if they would work but I guess not?

6 Bolt head studs are 12mm
7 Bolts are 11mm in diameter.

You wont be able to screw the 6 Bolts studs in your 7 Bolt Block.

You can put a 6 Bolt head on a 7 Bolt block, but you have to use the right studs from the used Block.

Just go with arp studs.
