My Question Is How Can I Get More Rev Out Of My Ecu I Have A 95 Eclipse Nt And It Red Line At 6500 The Reason I Am Asking Is Because I Plan On Doing A Turbo And As Soon As I Hear From Some Body To Let Me Know If I Can Used The Bottom End From A Neon Because I Don't Know Some People Shay That I Can Not Used It Because It Will Not Work With The Eclipse Tranny

um why are you capitalizing each word? Anyways, it should redline at 7000 not 6500. Plus I have heard(don't quote me) that the actual redline for our cars is 7200.

Well normally an ECU reflash, or the Afx ECU from howell will allow you to rev higher, but higher being like 8200 or 8500 I think. But if your going turbo, there really is no point in rasing your redline. When you raise your redline your increasing compression and that makes it harder to tune.(correct me if I'm wrong) I did see a video with 463T using a AVCR boost controller and SAFC, (going about 170mph), he was shifting at like 8k the whole time.

As for the eclipse tranny working with the bottom end of the neon, I'd say no it wouldn't work, because of the housing of the tranny. I know when we want to swap a neon tranny into our eclipse's we have to use certain parts and its not a direct thing.

the auto's redline at 6500... ours is more like 7400, atleast i can get mine to there.

No my car is a 5 speed I was wrong it red line at 7000 so it is better if I just leave the red line alone if I am going to turbo it
