sorry for the delay in pics, ive been really busy wit work since studs are coming off. but here are a few pics i took while replacing the alternator...

the first picture i took you can see where i shaved off some of the fan shroud to fit the j pipe a lot easier and in the second pic is the D holes you have to enlarge, i went ahead and cut an extra pocket to kep the power steering lines out of the way, came out great.

tomorow i will take a few more, ive just been incredibly busy.

For all those complaining about fitment issues, you do realize that these cars never came with FMICS. So ofcourse there is going to be some cutting and fitment issues. I dont see anyone complaining to Mitsubishi about having to cut their front bumper so they can fit their FMIC. So why complain about having to make some cuts here and there to fit someones fmic kit. First of all we all have to take into consideration the year of our cars. Year One makes fenders and hoods for all types of muscle cars that have to be massaged in order to fit. I've never heard anyone bashing them for that and thats a fender and hood the car came on the car from the factory. Speaking of these fenders and hoods has anyone actually seen the prices of these? Imagine paying their prices for something that doesnt fit were paying chump change of $300.00 compared to what they charge.. I challenge anyone to make a part for 20+ year old cars, ship these parts worldwide and have them fit everycar!! And dont post that it doesnt happen with other vendors because it does, people wont post it because they dont want to get bashed by bandwagon lovers...

Boostin...its not that people are upset that they have to do mods to make things work on these cars. That comes with the nature of modding a car. What people get upset about is companies like Punishment "claiming" the install to be straight forward and worry-free. Also, we are just pointing out all the things this guy should be worried about. But in no way was i trying to bash punishment, from what i understand they have worked hard to fix many of the fitment issues they used to have. I was just sharing my PERSONAL experience and give him the heads up. No one has "BASHED" this fmic kit.

In my experience there are other kits that fit BETTER than the PR kit. ETS is one of them. Still have to do some customizing but not as bad. I don't know all about anyone else but my time is money. If i have to spend time running around getting extra parts or tools to make something work than to me it's not worth it.
I like things to fit good and not blow off under boost. Trimming the bumper is a given. Pipes being to short and couplers barely on ### of it is another. I don't care how old a car is. A kit that is out now should be made pretty recent to address these issues. You telling me just becuz it's old that it shouldn't fit right? that's nonsense.

I never said because the car was old that nothing is going to fit. The point I was trying to make was they never came stock with fmics so ofcourse there is going to be some cutting and tweaking here and there. But I agree with what engineerthis87 said having to make things work is part of modding a car and I thought that was the reason all of us had this hobby.

here are some more pictures i shot today for you guys that are interested in the kit, some shots of the piping and a shot of the stock foglight bracket holes, easily accessible with the fm.

SAME kit as i have only problem i had was SHIPPING plus they were back ordered and they kept telling they were coming in on a certain day but when the day came it was still on back order...took me about 3 months to get the kit

Its been awhile since this thread, kit is still performing incredibly well and have had no problems at all with it. Factory fog lights fit perfectly in the factory position, no over heating issues at all, I would recommend getting the Jmf race front bumper support without this kit, makes all the body lines flawless!

Im glad you recieved amazing customer service from punishment.Maybe they just prefer one persons business to another's because i had horrific customer service from them.I tried contacting them many times to figure out some fitment issues i was having and why they only sent me 2 clamps and had no response.I wish i would have spent a little extra for an ets kit honestly, sometimes you get what you pay for i guess.

I apologize if you had issues with our fmic kit. How did you attempt contacting us? We can be reached via email, the contact form on our website, live agent on our website as well as by phone.

I just went through all of our contact logs and couldn't find anything regarding FMIC kits that was missed in the last 90 days. If you're still having issues please feel free to shoot me an email at [email protected].
