I have had erratic vacuum in the past, but never like this. I get out of work and start my car up, press the brake and notice it is just a little softer than normal so I pump the pedal around five times and my idle drops to around 500rpm. I pump it again while watching my boost gauge and notice that I lose vacuum as I pump it up, and it reads 10 or 11 neg. pressure on the gauge. The weird thing is that is stays at 10 for a while and slowly moves down again.
I tested for boost leaks around 2 months ago and only found a 1 psi leak at the BISS screw which I filled with RTV. I haven't done any work on the brake system recently, but I noticed the ABS didn't affect the pedal in the snow like most cars (pulsing)
Could this be caused by air in the system, and would bleeding it help??
