wont work on a DSM.... that system would work on a car like a Subaru or a Toyota that has a maf sensor that outputs a 0-5v signal. Mitsubishi MAF sensors put out a Hz signal where the voltage stays the same and the frequency changes... now if you were using it in conjunction with something that converts the signal or has been reprogrammed to use speed density like jackal, mega squirt, or an EVO8 ecu then it would work.... but if you had one of those why would you need that.
 
I see people use it on lancers that have just regular MAFS. I have to look into it even more
