wash dc metro area,
Guys, recently installed my Autometer Ultra-lite EGT. I believe it's wired correctly (per directions). When I turn the car on, the gauge lights up, then the needle points straight down (where it says Pyrometer)

any help?? thanks in advance!

how did u wire it for the red/black wire. i just put mine in like 2 days a go i got mine powered by the 12volt power from the ecu. also grounded in the ecu. if look at the ecu as if was flat the first plug(26 pin its big) has a red 12v power into it.

-------------
----------+- thats the plug :thumb: the plus is the wire u want. and if u want to ground it in the ecu the ground is in the last plug the last bottom wire. and its black. hope this helps i'll add an ecu pic if i can find one.

thanks guy, thanks for the link. i doubled checked it after looking at the info and figured out my problem. works fine now...temp usually stays around 4-6 ...is that ok?

also, do you think it would be ok to put a little toggle switch on the light power wire...to be able to turn the gauge light on and off?
