Problem on a 95 Talon TSI AWD

I have a 95 TSI AWD , and I didn a 6 bolt engine swap. AS I was driving today, I heared a loud pop, and then the car died. The car will start up, but then the engine dies, again unless you rev the engine, and even then it stutters when you rev it. It's a little bit smoother ride in second gear, but even then it stutters and will die if the engine isnt reved up while in neutral or sitting there. I just went out there and checked on it, and it still sputters but the car doesnt die when in neutral now, so what can it be? WHat do you think this problem may be? Well my first guess is you blew an intercooler hose check that.

How were you driving it hard? Or just cruising?

Start by checking the most obvisous, IC lines boost leaks thats what is sounds like happened. Plus plug wires (yeah they are perfect right) till you check em. Check fuel delivery etc and let us know.

I'd say IC pipe or coupler as well...mine always pop really loud when they blow off or burst.
