Ported 14b Boost Spike to 16 PSI??

Long story short i just put a 14b on my rebuild motor. I took it out for a inital drive and after 70 km i gave it a shot of fuel and boosted up to 16 psi!. My mbc is turned down to the lowest setting. Whys it doing this? Its ported also if that makes a difference.

Make sure your MBC is hooked up right. If you dont want to worry about it take the mbc off and hook the WGA strait to the nipple on the J-pipe then you will open on wastegate pressure.

yeah they lost some unpredictable scoring, who woulda thought 6-4 then 5-1 ? Oh well.

Any way i did hook it up right for sure i checked it out. Could something get in to the mbc and cause it to hold 16 psi? Its not to bad now but i have hit fuel cut once so far so im guessing i have very back idc percentage at the same time..
