Please help me again!

Thanks to all who got back with me on my first thread. I tried everything you all said to try and still no luck. Like I said before, I have spark, compression, fuel, new cap and rotor, wires and battery. She'll turn over but just won't start. I did a insulation resistance check on the primary and secondary resistance on the distributer and all checked out fine. My question is, how can you check if the internal computer of the car is bad? Any clue if it is bad, where I can get a used one cheap? I'm getting desperate here!

Are you sure you have spark. Did you visually take each wire off and see if it was sparking out the wire. Also when you crank it over does it start to drain the battery. If it doesn't drain the battery very fast then it is ignition.

Maybe your crankshaft position sensor is bad, if your sure youre getting spark, fuel, all that good stuff, it could be that your CPS is bad, if that goes, it will not allow your car to start at all, so that could possibly be your issue.

Have you checked your plugs? Is your timing on?

Maybe your crankshaft position sensor is bad, if your sure youre getting spark, fuel, all that good stuff, it could be that your CPS is bad, if that goes, it will not allow your car to start at all, so that could possibly be your issue.

if the CPS was totally inoperable, you wouldn't get any spark at all.

Check the ECU. Pull it out and inspect the capacitors for leaks.
