Everytime it rains my floorboard fills up with water under the passenger seat. I have checked for holes underneath the car from where someone may have hit something, but nothing there. All my weatherstripping around the doors are in good shape. The water is mainly around where the factory amp used to be. It is dry up around the bottom of the dash. I also was wondering if it might be leaking from the sunroof and somehow running down the side into the floor. The headliner isn't wet though. I have also checked the grommets for the fuel tank and they are all in place. Anyone else experience this?

Do you have any clogged water drains or uncovered holes in your car's body ? Both of these can contribute to your problem.

I had the same thing happening to me when I had a rs. I would have to strip my interior everytime it rained so that it could dry out and wouldn't smell..

One time when I had the carpet and stuff out I just had my friend run the hose on it until i found where it was coming from.. I think it was the drain hoses on the sunroof

Sunroof drains are usually the culprit here. Normally if you put a garden hose on your windshield and flood the top of the car with water you can get in it and see where the water may be coming from. My guess is that it is a clogged right rear drain. take a piece of larger speaker wire, or anything that is semi flexible and run it down the drain. after this take a air gun and lightly blow out the drain. If it is still clogged and you hit it too hard you can blow the line off of the sunroof.

There are 4 drains, you can barely see them.
Open your sunroof, then open and stand on your side sill or whatever it is you call it and look real close at each corner of the sunroof, you will see a small hole, that's the drain.

Cool do they run out under the car somewhere? I will check this out when it quits damn raining. Thanks for the help.

The drain holes are at the corners of the sunroof....also check the drains in the hatch---make sure the tubes come out the bottom of the car behind the rear wheels. I had a flooding problem in my 95 and one of the tubes was pulled up and draining into the interior. Heavy duty weed wacker line works great for clearing out the drains. Good luck man.

Yes it runs under the car, not sure exactly where the sunroof drains exit out, but i'll see if i find it for you when i get to it as i myself have to unclog my drains as well.

The rear run down the the side of the car under the trim and the fronts usually run down the A-pillar under the trim. The go to holes and drain under the car. If you drains are not clogged and you still have the leak, then check to make one of the hoses did not get cut if someone had the trim off, or pinched for that matter.
