Since this is a smaller turbo that spools hella quick, did some port work of the wastegate. Also replaced the flapper while I was at it.

In performing my abs delete I also took off all the rust on the calipers and repainted them as well. This took about 10hrs alone to remove all the rust using a dremel and some grind stones. I think it was well worth it and won't ever have to touch these things again. They came out fantastic using the brush on kit. FYI yes they are the dual pistons
Oh and also snatched up some ss brake lines while I was at it.

To clean up the engine bay some more, the battery was relocated to the trunk area. I removed the wiper reservoir (that things huge) and put the battery in its place with a super hold down. Also ground down any surface rust and sprayed with some truck bed liner. It's super secure and centrally located in the car. I also grabbed a super small fluid reservoir and pump to put in the originals place. Sorry I don't have any pics of that at this time.

Time to replace that fugly grey interior! The car came with completely grey panels, clotch seats, and very dirty carpet...and a mouse!
Previous owner bought the car that sat for about 4 years in a field. I stripped it all out to clean as well as the carpet. It had a bunch of stains that all came out with tons of cleaner and elbow grease. I also scrubbed down all the plastics as it reeked of pot
and put them back in. At this time I also redid the stained saggy headliner with something a little more custom. The material is just sweatshirt fabric and used the most sticky headliner spray glue available. Not sure what I will do with the visors yet. In addition to some plastics now being black, it looks really nice and professional. Also the stearing wheel has been replaced and installed some ep3 seats from a Honda. They took quite of bit of fabricating but they fit great!
Also fiberglassed a gauge holder in the center vent, cut welded short shifter with s2k knob, and put in a nothing special radio. I'm not a sound guy so I only have just the rear speakers as well for some weight savings. I will most likely be fiberglassing something in place of the rear seats as well.

So where I'm at today is the head is on, timing belt is done, wires all connected and tucked, all piping is done, wally 190 (going for stock appearing this year), 880 injectors, and dsmlink on the way will be here tomorrow. Oh and I also lowered it, replaced the exahust with a full apexi down pipe and cat back with n1 muffler, ported the o2 housing and the only thing really I got left is to finish porting the 2g manifold as I got rid of the dnp for my budget.
Body work wise its near mint except for the door accents have severe sun damage and the front bumper is terrible! I picked up some 2ga talon twisties also so will begin prepping these for paint asap
