I recently replaced my alternator and afterwards experienced some shorting out of my radio occasionally. didn't think much of it at the time. About a week later the car started to run really strangely, bogging out etc. Came home and hooked up my DSMLink thinking my tune was a bit off, as I began adjusting the airflow/fuel sliders my idle jumped to 3K and a CEL popped up.

I shut the car off and checked the code and it gave me P0100. Tried to start it back up and it just wouldn't turn over and then i'd get all sorts of clicking sounds from the dash followed by my alarm going off. Let the car sit for a bit till I had time to work on it (today). Go into the garage and now the car is completely dead. There's definitely an electrical problem of sorts but i'm not sure where to start. How does replacing my alternator cause the MAS to go on the fritz? I find it hard to believe the two aren't related....

Clicking sounds near the glove box is usually a sign of ECU issues. Have you checked to make sure your DSMLink is still seated properly in the ECU? I'm just north of you, PM me if you want to try a different ECU.
