when i hit boost at 17 psi my oil pressure gauge is reading closer to 90, im not quite sure if this is normal because its under alot of pressure, im not losing any oil either which would make for high oil pressure some times. let me know if this is normal or something could be under stress causing this to do this. this is my 2nd dsm, this time a gsx so its kinda diffrent from the old 420a. any thing will help, thanks

Thats about where i'm at bro. But it also depends what rpm your at too. Hell at startup i peg over 100psi. :laser: :thumb:

oh, well if these conditions are normal i shouldn't worry i guess. does any one elses get that high. let me know

the oil pump is gear driven, doesn't matter how much boost you're running. it's based on rpm, not psi. anyhow, at 80mph crusing (about 3800rpm or so) I get around 80psi.
