So I've started a wire tuck project, and in the process of removing excess wiring I've come across a question that I can't seem to find a solid answer to. Basically, I have replaced the rear O2 with a wideband and I would now like to remove the OEM front and rear O2 sensors, wiring, and heater circuits. I have DSMLink V3, so I think I can just log the wideband at the rear O2 location, enable narrowband sim, and I shouldn't get a CEL, but I can't find anyone who's actually done it that posted about it.

With a wideband installed as stated above, will I still get a CEL if I've de-pinned ECU pins 54 and 60? For clarification, this is on a 2G, 6-bolt, Prosport wideband. Any help would be much appreciated.

I've read about installing a circuit to "trick" the ECU into thinking the sensors are still there, and that wouldn't be difficult or time-consuming, but I would like to remove any wiring that doesn't NEED to be there.
