NT FIAV into a Turbo Tsi?

Hello members, I have a spare fiav from a non turbo laser. I just cant remember if it was out of a 2.0L or the smaller engine. I am trying to fix my idle issue which leads me to a bad fiav. My question is if I was to take off the fiav off the nt throttle body, will it work for my turbo fiav on my tsi? By the way the laser it came off of is also a 1st gen like my tsi. Thanks.

yes, it will work. I run one on my car since I had a spare one laying around.

That's not so hard to believe since people are running throttle bodies off Mustangs.
