If I pass smog today I'll be able to get my plates and head up there to watch. How are emissions here? Tough? Is there a visual inspection? Will I be able to pass with no EGR?

aslong as your not running really rich, i have no emissions on my car and i passed with alittle help of leaning out, and ive never seen them ever look at my motor or exhaust

Well I put the EGR back on. My car smells like gas. Ohh well I'm going to try anyways. Wish me luck guys

Ugh I was so disgusted with my car's performance yesterday. Mine of course was the 94 GSX on the board. 266hp/291ft/lb tq? Weak! I was spiking 30.5psi holding 24psi on my 50-trim and my AFRs were mid 11s with no knock on only 92 pump gas and I only made 266hp... I just dont get it. I made about 220hp my first 2 runs, advanced the CAS a hair with no other tuning, maybe 1-2 degrees and my power jumped to 266hp! I know that I had an exhaust leak at the manifold-turbo gasket and a small boost leak at the intercooler, but I just can't believe that those would kill me that bad! I dunno, we'll have to see next month at Drift Office's next dyno day.

It seemed like everyone was making a lot less power than expected yesterday though... Meh.

mike i think your gsx make good power for GSx overall.. and sad for john TSI damn... but oveer 500whp good, i was hopefully for 600 till oil pump failed and oil line blew

I couldn't make it. I was having some car trouble. My idle surge was so bad I couldn't smog my car. Plus they did an OBDII check and 5 computers failed to read. Then my car overheated while waiting. So now I have a coolant leak somewhere. It was a bad day. I got so many little things going on with this car that it's almost forcing me into submission.

yeah, that was really cool to see it lift up off the dyno like it did. his name is Jhon and goes by the SN/Alter Ego 'Jhonny TSi'. i'm pretty sure it's spelled that way.
