Are these an easy find at local auto parts store? I've called Kragens and Autozone and they don't carry them.

I ask for the NGK BPR7ES sparkplugs but they insist I tell them what kind of car I have. Instead of telling me if they have the spark plugs in they go on to tell me what kind of plugs they do have for my car.... I don't know why these damn things are so hard to get a hold of!

i get my from Pepboys and the reason they are hard to get out is they probably seized up. Next time just put a little bit of anti-seize and they will come out easily

My local mitsu dealer carries them.
Advanced Auto Parts also carries them I think...

I called Pep Boys.. For some reason whenever I ask "Do you carry the NGK BPR7ES sparkplugs?" they in return say, "Well, what kind of car do you have." Then they proceed to tell me _what_ spark plugs they do have in stock for my car. It's getting pretty annoying. I may just order them online.

Just ask if they carry NGK plugs.
If they say no say "thank you" and hang up.
