Hey guys I just bought 8" wide 17" wheels with a +35 offset.

I need to know if a 245/45/R17 will clear the inside suspension parts. Will I need to roll the fenders? Front, back or both?

I am looking at the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 because of their stellar review in Car and Driver. I was also looking at the Dunlop Dirrezza Star Spec Z1s but the Hankooks fit the budget better.

The car is lowered 1.75" with a Tokico HP Blue Shock / Spring Setup. With and Ingalls Camber kit installed.

With a +35mm backspace the tires should clear the knuckles, depends on the tire. There's a chance you may rub your fenders especially in the rear. I do on hard bumps with a 245/40/17 and +40mm backspacing. It going to depend on how low the car is, how stiff you springs and shocks are, and your alignment.

Ill get the specs on alignment. Any side on shots of your car especially wheel gap? and stance

Here are a few I have.

This shows how flush the front wheel is with the fender. The fronts are going to be further out from the body than the rears.

Here is the only rear shot I have. Unfortunately I don't have one from direct behind the tire on one side. I could always take one later if you'd want.

This is the current ride height. I'll probably raise it slightly when I put new suspension on.

And here is a pic under a little bit of compression. You can kind of get an idea where the tires get close to the body.

No, my fenders aren't rolled. I was going to roll the rears, but I'm going to wait. They might not rub with the new suspension, alignment, and ride height.

Star specs are amazing tires no doubt. But too expensive for a daily tire. I have those Hankook Evo K110 on my GSX and they are great in rain and dry weather. NOT GOOD IN SNOW!!! But i would recommend them. Also, they are quite quiet. The star specs are going on my evo rims i think for my road racing package. Which is EVOX rims, star specs or Nitto NTO5's, DBA rotors, and some ceramic pads.

My buddy had the star specs on his solstice gxp. They were very firm but really handled amazing. They are only bout 160 more than the hankooks.

Ok well I just ordered them they are going to go on these. I am going to rock them center capless. They look a lot like Work Emotion CR Kais with the heavy price tag.

Why no center caps? Do you like that crusty axle nut rust look? :p

Those wheels look pretty good other than the second bolt pattern. :thumb: Are they light?

I have my axle nuts painted flat black.

The works have the holes too. These are around 17 lbs.
I ordered billet aluminum red valvestems and aluminum red lug nuts.
Here are the works

My car with +32 Work Emotion CR-Kai 17x8 with 245/45/17's . The back rubbed a lot over small and big bumps. Rode on it for a while. The fenders were not and still are not rolled. I run 245/40/17 now and it very rarely rubs. Hardly ever actually. Although, the speedo is off about 6mph now. I think I'm going to roll the back soon enough and maybe go a half inch lower. Hope this helps.

I Love panda Talons, My brother had one. That car is clean :sneaky: The wheels and tires hang out a good bit, I cant wait to see mine, I think wheels hanging out looks aggressive. But I hope the rocks don't kill my paint.

He wrecked it and got this now. I want to get the 2gb fogs for it since they are missing and look retarded especially since it has no fmic.
