I have a hybrid t3/to4b turbo, im sure this question is braught up time after time, but the turbo is only oil cooled, what do I do with my coolant lines from the 14b?

so it is ok if I block them off, thanks and if I looped them where would they be looped to?

I was told to loop them, not to block them off. However I had no choice, I had to block them off and havent had any problems.

It doesn't make a difference really. The only thing that I'm picky about is that if you cap it off, there's a small chance that under unforeseen circumstances, the cooling system can get pressurized enough to blow that cap off. It's just something that "could" happen.

That's why I'd rather suggest looping it together just to prevent any mishaps. I guess I'm just @nal like that. :thumb:

Heh, this just happened to me. The screw I had pushed in the end of the hose to cap it off I thought was in there good.. and it wasn't. Oh well, live and learn, and then use clamps on everything :D

Darwin wins again!

With the looped lines, there's no chance of it backing out and losing all your coolant. :barf:

It was more of something we did just to get the car to be able to idle, and then when it came time to drive, we forgot about it. With as much work as we did all at once, overlooking one screw is forgiveable :p
