1G new 1g with mods new to dsm

I just recently got a 1G Talon with a bunch of mods rebuilt 5 speed. First and foremost don't say search because I did already just want inside information as well.

That aside this is my first turbo car. It has Big 16g turbo
These mods
(1/2) Buscher racing exhaust $1200
Walbro 255 $200
550 cc injectors $150
Electric boost controller $500
Bc 272 cams $450
Big 16 $250
Fmic $300
3" gm Maf $50
And (2/2) translator $150
Stage 2 clutch and rebuilt 4g63

Now my question is what to look out for with this being my summer DD
Look out for boost? Leaks? Air/fuel ratio. What's good? What's bad? Shaft play? Overheating? Big boost? Low boost? Etc etc things to know, spot, look for, fix if need be. Sounds to listen for. The turbo no nos and do's don't's . I know cars but not turbo tech as well as I should having a built car. Any replies will be received with gratitude no trolling plz.
 
A lot of good advice here. So Ill just add my .02 cents:hellyeah:
Low boost should be at or around 15psi (~1BAR) if possible for the 16g to get a great tune down. You will be in the compressors efficiency range and you shouldnt knock.

High boost should be about 22psi (~1.5BAR) to get the most airflow without heating up the aircharge too much. On a decent engine setup such as yours, with good volumetric efficiency you should be flowing that magical 40+lbs/min and putting down power. Best of luck!

Thanks appreciate response that's what I'm looking for. Previous owner stated its at 27 psi full boost so I'll turn it down. Ran full boost vs a charger smoked him loving this sleeper thing.
 
Thanks guys really loving my DSM and this whole sleeper thing. I recently raced a charger went full throttle for first time and wait for it ............................... HOLY SHIT that torque steer. I'm saving for ecmlink and some suspension upgrades asap some nice street strips and wheels to wrap around any recommendations for tires wheels I would like minimal to slight torque steer know it's almost impossible to get no torque steer with FWD even with lsd.

My suggestion would be to not trust anything the previous owner told you and cover your ass. Unless you bought it from a close friend, don't trust any tuning he did and definitely don't trust any maintenance.
