I just reinstalled the stock springs on my GSX after running the Megan Racing lowering springs for about a month. The drop looked good (2"fr/1.9"r) but was just too low. I had major vibration issues that I could not fix with new axles up front (never changed the rears, may have been the cause) even with a proper alignment. On top of that, the the ride, using AGX's at any setting was beyond bouncy. The right sequence of undulations would send me airborne inside the car almost hitting the roof with my head and my girlfriend holding her boobs in place so they wouldnt knock her out. ROFL For a dialy driver it just was not comfortable so the springs ended up on ebay and the stock springs returned to their home.

The car rides great now and matched with the right settings on the AGX's handles quite well. However the rally cross look just isnt working for me. I still want to lower the car but $1200 on coilovers isnt in the budget right now sow temporarily I'd like to run another set of lowering springs. The MR's I ran were just too low and over sprung for the AGX's. The Tein S tech seem to have a nice balance of lowering and spring rates (1.2"/213 fr and 1.6"/179 r).

I'm just looking for peoples opinions on these or any other lowering springs. Let me know what you have and on what struts you are using them with and how the ride is, pics would be nice too :thumb:

Here's my GSX on the Megan Racing springs before I took them off:

Thanks, I did like the way it looked but I only lasted so long on how it looked. Too many opther aspects of the car went down hill to keep them.

Megan Racing springs suck ass. Tein is the way to go, I just recently installed some TEIN SUPER STREET true coil overs and man! This is probably the best suspension for our cars.

Good to hear that. Eventually thats what I'm planning on running but for now I'm just looking for a lower stance and firmer ride than the stock springs can offer.

Anyone else have imput on other brands?
