Ok, even though my car is up for sale it NEEDS a clutch. Even still I'm not going to skimp on it, I want to buy the correct one for my application. The company I'm going to use is Clutchmasters.

I'd love to use just the FX100 but am thinking that only 70% more holding power over the stock wont be enough. The FX200 seems good, but for the same price I can get the FX400. My only concern is that the FX400 is a 4-puck design and even though it says street and race, I'm concerned as to how streetable it really will be. I dont really mind paying the $495 if the FX100 just will not hold up to the power but I'd much prefer just spend the $295 for it.

The basic car setup right now 11psi on a ported 14B on the non-turbo 9:1 pistons. Intake, testpipe and other supporting stuff. Stock exhaust back on.

Thanks for any advice.

Here is a rundown of the clutches I'm looking at.

FX100 (Stage I) - $295
· High performance street system
· Holding capacity 70% over stock
· Heavy-Duty reinforced pressure plate
· Hi-Leverage™ pressure ring design
· Sprung hub/cushioned disc
· Steel backed organic friction material

FX300 (Stage III) - $495

· Heavy-duty street & racing system
· Holding capacity 110% over stock
· Heavy-Duty reinforced pressure plate
· Hi-Leverage™ pressure ring design
· Sprung hub/cushioned disc
· Steel backed Segmented Carbon/Kevlar

FX400 (Stage IV) - $495

· Ultra heavy-duty street &racing system
· Holding capacity 170% over stock
· Heavy-Duty reinforced pressure plate
· Hi-Leverage™ pressure ring design
· Sprung hub/4-button
· Ceramic friction material
· SFI Approved on most race applications.

As of right now I am running the ACT 2100 since my Spec Stage II ceramic disc had to puke on me. I would go with the FX300 (Stage III). But thats me. You really dont need the IV for street use. The FX300 will be just fine.

is the 2100 holding right? what disc do you have?
will a 2100 with a 4 puck disc hold above 350 horses?

Sorry I dont mean to jack your thread but I looked everywhere and still cannot find a sure answer. I have a modular clutch, which I want to change to a non-modular setup. I already have an ACT 2100 kit, but what I need to know is what flywheel would work for this conversion? Thanks
