I know im not supposed to have an unrecirculated bov with a mas, so please dont hound me about it. I did what i had to do to get the car running. I will list my symptoms in no particular order, so its easy to read.

1. Unstable idle, it will idle good in park for aout 20 seconds then rpms will rise then go back down and smooth out. The time between this happening varies.

2. Isc position not stable. I changed out my isc because it wouldnt go under 50. The one i put in does go below 30 but the biss is adjusted father out than i would like

3. When the fans kick on the afr drops real lean and the car tries to compensate by going up in rpm. the afr kind of stabilizes after the fans kick off.

4. Idle air clamp seems to not be functioning. I tried playing with it a bit but the airflowperrev never settles like it should.

5. After adjusting the biss the last time, my wideband isn't cycling properly as a front o2.

6. Ecmlink doesnt match what my wideband gauge is reading. It is a couple points off.

I have experience with tuning speed density, so I have no idea what im doing with a mas. I believe most of the problem is there seems to be something wrong with narrowband simulation, and obviously some of it is the vented bov but idle clamp should compensate. any help is appriciated.

If you havn't already, why don't you try using the native LC-1 datalogging routine that v3 provides. You can select it as a pin assignment under ECU inputs. Also, I'd uncheck "use non-95/96 cam angle sensor" if you're using a 95/96 cam angle sensor. Also, try locking the ecu in open loop and see how she idles then...

If this doesn't help, then I'd have to say go through this list one-by-one and report back:

Update.

I finally got some free time to mess with the car a little bit. I found two huge boost leaks, fixed them and started messing with the idle. I got the isc pretty much down to 30 at idle in park. I took it out for about a 3 minute drive, came back, put it in park and let it idle. Its idling erratic in park AFTER driving. Before I drove it and was idling, it idled beautifully. No hiccups or surging or anything.
I thought i saved the log but apparently i didn't. Ill have to wait for the car to completely cool down.

another update.

Got the isc dialed in as close to 30 as possible (33)
Adjusted the maf comp 50hz slider to adjust airflowperrev
Took it for a 10 minute drive followed by 5 minutes of idle time with no further changes.
I adjusted the 50hz slider accordingly to get ltft lo as close to 0 as possible.

New symptoms:
car will idle at 14.5-14.7 until fans come on, when they come on the idle goes real lean and smooths out right before the fans turn off at 14.7. After the fans turn off, idle goes lean for a few seconds then smooths out to 14.5-14.7. When driving, if i go to slow down around 1200 rpm it is real rich until it drops below 1000rp then its at 17-18:1 afr then smooths out after a bit.

I noticed that when the fans kick on, the front o2 voltage is locked and doesn't fluctuate. The wideband gauge still doesn't match what link is logging, it is off .2 it seems.

Ive attached 3 logs, one is after i set the isc position before the cruise, another one is right after the cruise idling in my driveway with no changes to the tune, and the other is after 5 minutes adjusting the 50hz maf comp slider to adjust ltft.

Sorry im no help but my car is doing the same exact thing. I just purchased it and it's not my first dsm but my first turbo vehicle and I have almost the same set up but I have 660 cc injectors and 255 fuel pump and mine runs crazy rich all the time besides the 20 sec start up. Could you please tell me what you exactly did to make it better?
