i jus bought MSD sparkplug wires .but,im not too sure how to connect to the other end( as in the head not to the spark plugs). when i pulled my stock ones, there is a metal piece, and my new wires has the same metal piece. it cant connect.need help..thanks.

They go into the coil pack on the intake manifold beyond the head. Order is 4-1-2-3 from passenger to driver side.

w/ most wires, there is a definite click when the head snaps onto the terminal. for some reason, MSD wires don't do that. if you're not able to get the coil pack terminal around the metal clip inside, just adjust the clip until it fits around it. Then push the head of the wire in as far as you can. I installed mine last year, and i haven't had any probs w/ them slipping off.

I am running MSD wires and I get a click. :) Also the wires, at least in my case, are labled. Also 4-1-2-3 on the coil packs is correct. On some it is also etched in the metal bracket that the coils are mounted to. On your engine the cylinders are 4-3-2-1 from passengers to drivers.

Also, I can take pics if my spare pack if you need a visual confirmation. Just shoot me a PM or email.

when i take out the stock wires from the coil pack, the terminal is also the same metal piece from the new MSD. it is exactly the same size,it jus wouldn't fit..do i haf to adjust the ones on my MSD? adjust it smaller or bigger?

I had to play with mine to get them in (wiggle/push). They should fit, they were made for your application.

problem solved.i actually pulled the wires leaving the metal piece in my coilpack. i still haven't done anything to it yet.but im planning to pull it out with a tweezer.because i pull the others and it wasn't a problem.thanks ppl for the replies.=]
