megan 2g down pipe on 1g.

Hi guys whats up. Well I have a quick question. Has anybody tried to fit the 2g megan DP on a 1g? The reason being is that i might be able to buy a 2g dp from a friend of a friend for about 70 dollars and wanted to know if it would fit. I did the search and didn't find anything. I Did read some time ago about a person here that fitted a 2g megan dp to his
1g. So if someone knows. Would you be so kind as to tell me?

If you look at the 2 side by side there is a notable difference, and it would be the same as custom welding a DP if you try to fit a 2G DP on a 1G.
http://www.meganracing.com/products/product_page.asp?catid=22, 2G essentially goes straight back after the flex section, on the 1G towards the end of the DP it juts to the pass. side then goes back.

Oh, ok. thanks man. I appreciate the quick response. In that case, I will just build my own custom down pipe. I don't really like the way the dp bends. Nevertheless, Great work quality. I love the transition from 2.5 to 3inch and the welds are very clean.
