Its Ryuto pronounced (U-toe) and it was nice meeting you as well Ted and thanks for all the advice. But yeah it was a great turn out. I had a lot of fun meeting new people and seeing fimilure faces.

whos black 2g is that with aftermarket seats. what seat rails are you using? and did it raise the seating position from stock

It was some girls car, not sure of her name tho. Its not black it was a gray Lexus IS300 paint job I think ? The pics don't do justice for the car. But her dsm was SUPER clean. And had nice seats! LOL

And we would have had more pics but my buddy said he forgot his tripod so the pics didnt come out properly.

Since we've had multiple successful meets I think we should do it more often! :thumb:

Yeah, that's my car, and yes they are the Evo9 Recaro seats ;) I had my brackets custom made by Rob at Ditos Motors in South San Francisco by my house. He basically took our stock brackets off our seats and welded it to fit onto the Recaros. He did a great job and as far as the height on those, I purposely had him have it sit higher for me since I'm a chick and of course I'm somewhat short but still kept in mind enough head room for my helmet. If you're interested in having the same thing done, PM me and I'll give you the shop's number, or just look them up.

I've also heard really good reviews from Wedge, who makes custom brackets. All you gotta do is give them the measurements. I believe they even have the measurements on file too (for my set-up anyway) , but always double check by asking. I was actually going to have them make my brackets but I was on a time crunch to get her ready for a show and wanted the seats in fairly soon (I heard the turnaround time was kinda long and a bit pricey, BUT everyone says their work is really good and worth it). Anyway, I ended up taking it to Rob for the quick turnaround/no shipping hassel, and the result was just as satisfying, so I'm pleased :thumb:

And thanks for the "super clean" comment Killa_dsm, I like to keep her that way :D

is it the leather EVO9 seats though? LOL jk..

yea it looks very nicely done. I am aware that wedge makes the brackets, but they do cost $100+ I believe, it seems so hard to get affordable seat brackets that will keep the same seating position, that seems to be the major problem with the aftermarket ones available.

If the shop you had yours done at can make them cheaper than wedge with same seating position height as stock, ill be off to get some ebay leather seats cause i can't be baller like you with the EVO 9 seats.. ROFL

hope to see your your ride one of these days..

how long do you guys stay at the meet?

Yeah, I admit I'm a sucker for a bit of luxury, even though most guys prefer cloth racing seats. At least the suede part makes up for not sticking to the seat or burning my skin on a hot summer day LOL.

I'd call the shop up and talk to them about your positioning preferences, cost, and all that if you want to get a quote and or feel for what they can do for you if you decide on the ebay seats in the future (ebay or not, as long as it can hold you in :thumb:). I'll admit, I did have to pay some (definitely 100+) for my custom brackets though.

Hope to see your ride as well some day, next meet I guess! ;) As far as how long the meet lasted, not too sure on my end, I left earlier than everyone else

Wow, the more I look at this thread the more I get sad hehe. I'm really glad that this turned out well again. I really want to meet more of everyone here. Happy new years to all of you. In my eyes, we started out with a bang this new year. I hope to see you all again next month. The weather should be a lot warmer next month as well. More pics LOL.

Damn, looked like a good turn around. Wish I went. :|

The other pics I took were too blurry, sorry man. As it was, I forced the light on the ones that came out okay. We'll try again next time. :thumb:
