MBC What do you do? Compressor Housing or BOV

I have searched read...searched read...vfaq...etc. Chances are any posts you search out I have already read from this forum.

Some say Tee into the BOV line. Other say into the compressor housing. What do you run your MBC to? Any advantages...disadvantages of either?

I did mine between the Bov and the Intake mani. Worked great for me. That's where all install instructions tell you to put it also.

Dude, am I reading that right? Does the 2G one say that you should use the BCS????? Every install I have ever seen totally ditches the BCS.

Yep...seen/read both of those (and all mentioned above). I know how to install it both ways....no problem there. Instructions not needed really.

Most seem to prefer the BOV/mani line but ive found a few that swear by the compressor housing. I was just curious why some would prefer one over the other.

What I may do is hook mine up both ways...try it myself and report back.

I put caps on both sides of that bcs.
I completely eliminated it.

Ran it from the compressor also...

No problems with running the MBC to the compressor? Why didnt you Tee into the BOV/Mani line?

I followed that.
The shorter the lines the better in my honest opinion.

It just depends on what you prefer. If you take it from the IM, the reading will include the pressure loss of the IC, which IMO is more significant.

A fun thing to do is use both methods to see the comparison in pressure drop between a stock and FMIC.
